Waking Up From a Dream Come True
Over 12,000 miles, 22 states, 3 countries, numerous National Parks…that’s what the end of our journey looks like.
Our plans seemed to change as often as our road, but that’s life. This last month has held an unexpected trip back to the east coast to spend a few more weeks with my parents (and gave them the opportunity to share the girls birthdays) and we had the chance to help my little brother get his house ready to move into.
Following that we arrived back on the west coast but immediately headed out for a week in Phoenix Arizona for walks in the mountains, lots of swim time a trip to Montazuma’s Castle and the Grand Canyon, and best of all we got to share some time at Sun Valley Christian Center where we made new great friends.Montezuma’s Castle in Arizona. On our way to the Grand Canyon
We have been blessed to get to know some amazing new people and also gotten to know better, family and friends, who have all enriched our lives in ways we could never have hoped for.
After we returned to California, the kids had their day at Disney Land and now we are in the process of packing back up for our return to Australia where we continue traveling for a time before heading back up toward Cairns in October and then the next phase.
I hope to continue chronicling our journey and thoughts – as it is far from over, but my next correspondence will most likely be from the east coast of Australia…somewhere.
